In June 2005, the Executive Secretary of the GIAN visited several prestigious US universities (Brown, City University of New York, Columbia, Georgetown, Yale). The numerous consultations that he carried out were undertaken in the framework of the creation of an academic pole in international studies in Geneva and the integration of the GIAN's mission into that future structure.
