Keywords
International Trade - Negotiations - TradeSummary
The project consisted of a specialised course on trade negotiation, including a trade negotiation simulation, used both for immediate training purposes and for data collection purposes in a research perspective. The course was intended for government representatives who were likely to be involved in trade negotiations. Representatives of the academic community and of the World Trade Organisation Secretariat functioned as trainers/facilitators. Researchers from the academic community were offered the possibility to observe the trade simulation with a view to use it as a "laboratory" for further study.
The grant provided by the GIAN for this project totals SFr 45,080
