On 22 November  2005, at 11:00 am , at the Villa Rigot , avenue de la Paix 9, Geneva (guaranteed parking at the Villa Rigot, near the Place des Nations).

The GIAN is an international research network founded by the University of Geneva, the Graduate Institute of International Studies and the Graduate Institute of Development Studies, in collaboration with the United Nations Office in Geneva, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and other international partners in Geneva. The GIAN's objective is to reinforce cooperation among institutions of higher education and international organisations by financing and supporting research and training projects with a practical application.

The teams whose projects were selected by the GIAN in 2005 will discuss their research. The presentation, in English and in French, will be followed by a question and answer period. A buffet will be served and will permit media representatives, researchers and GIAN personnel to get acquainted.
