Gender and Rights in Reproductive Health: A Research and Capacity Building Initiative for Francophone Countries

Summary

Coordinated by the professor Fenneke Reysoo of the Graduate Institute of Development Studies, in partnership with the Gender & Health Research Department of the World Health Organisation (WHO), this project aims to conduct research on the various aspects of the sexual behaviour of youths in Francophone Africa. The result of this research will contribute to the establishment of training materials in French that will allow health service providers to develop services based on the respect for rights and gender rights, particularly for young people.

The grant provided by the GIAN for this project totals SFr 255,000
